The Online Shoe Shop is a UK family business. We've been in the footwear trade since the late 1970s and online since 2011 and the same family still picks every style we sell.
Our story, plainly
From the trade counter to your doorstep.
Our family got into footwear the unglamorous way, in the late 1970s, selling through the UK wholesale trade. For decades, that was the job: handling thousands of pairs a season, learning which factories cut leather properly, which soles outlast their owners, and which shoes quietly fall apart in a month.
That's the knowledge this shop runs on. When we went online in 2011, we didn't become a tech company, we just gave the trade counter a website. Every style here is one we'd happily hand across that counter: honest construction, sensible materials, a fair price.
